There is proposed a method for preserving a transmission rate of second data transmitted by a first terminal (T1) destined for a second terminal (S1) attached to at least one access device (D3) in a communications network (100). A communications network node (R2) capable of routing the second data identifies (E5) an inability of the at least one access device (D3) to send first data received from the first terminal (T1) to the second terminal (S1), processes the first data received from the first terminal (T1) during the identified period of inability of the at least one access device (D3), and transmits to the first terminal (T1) a notification indicating that the first stored data is not subject to congestion.

Il est proposé un procédé de préservation d'un débit d'émission de deuxièmes données émises par un premier terminal (T1) à destination d'un deuxième terminal (S1) attaché à au moins un dispositif (D3) d'accès d'un réseau (100) de communications. Un nœud (R2) du réseau de communications, apte à acheminer lesdites deuxièmes données, détermine (E5) une incapacité de l'au moins un dispositif (D3) d'accès à transmettre au deuxième terminal (S1) des premières données reçues du premier terminal (T1), traite les premières données reçues du premier terminal (T1) pendant l'incapacité déterminée de l'au moins un dispositif (D3) d'accès, et émet à destination du premier terminal (T1) un message de notification de non-congestion des premières données mémorisées.
