A method for monitoring and assessing the condition of a patient with a neurological disorder in real time using the indicative parameters of the patient's condition obtained by means of an EEG, which comprises an EEG measurement stage using at least one sensor, a processing stage wherein the values measured are processed, an extraction stage wherein at least one set of values of the indicative parameters of the patient's condition is extracted, wherein each set of values is extracted from different EEG time segments, a calculation stage wherein the level of risk of the patient suffering a crisis due to the neurological disorder is calculated, wherein the level of risk is calculated by applying at least one mathematical classification model to each corresponding set of values, and a classification stage wherein the patient's condition is classified into at least an alarm or pre-stroke state and a non-alarm or non-pre-stroke state, in accordance with a threshold level.

Método de monitorización y evaluación a tiempo real del estado de un paciente con afección neurológica, a partir de los parámetros indicativos del estado del paciente obtenidos mediante un EEG, comprendiendo una etapa de medición del EEG mediante al menos un sensor, una etapa de procesamiento de los valores medidos, una etapa de extracción de al menos un set de valores de los parámetros indicativos del estado del paciente, cada set de valores estando extraído de diferentes segmentos de tiempo del EEG, una etapa de cálculo para cada segmento de tiempo del nivel de riesgo de que el paciente sufra una crisis por la afección neurológica, realizándose el cálculo del nivel de riesgo mediante la aplicación de al menos un modelo matemático de clasificación a cada correspondiente set de valores, y una etapa de clasificación del estado del paciente, entre al menos un estado de alarma o pre-ictal y un estado de no-alarma o no pre-ictal, en función de un nivel umbral.

La présente invention concerne une méthode de surveillance et d'évaluation en temps réel de l'état d'un patient atteint d'une affection neurologique, sur la base des paramètres représentatifs de l'état du patient obtenus au moyen d'un EEG, comprenant une étape de mesure de l'EEG au moyen d'au moins un capteur, une étape de traitement des valeurs mesurées, une étape d'extraction d'au moins un ensemble de valeurs des paramètres indiquant l'état du patient, chaque ensemble de valeurs étant extrait de différents segments de temps de l'EEG, une étape de calcul, pour chaque segment de temps, du niveau de risque que le patient souffre d'une crise due à l'affection neurologique, le calcul du niveau de risque étant réalisé par l'application d'au moins un modèle mathématique de classification à chaque ensemble correspondant de valeurs, et une étape de classification de l'état du patient entre au moins un état d'alerte ou de pré-crise et un état de non alerte ou sans risque de crise, en fonction d'un niveau seuil.
