Die vorliegende Erfindung offenbart einen Prüfadapter (100, 200) zum Prüfen einer Temperatursensorik einer Verbindungsvorrichtung (10, 20), die zur Kopplung mit einer korrespondierenden Verbindungseinrichtung (20, 10) und zur Übertragung von elektrischer Energie vorgesehen ist und zumindest einen Leistungskontakt (11, 21) aufweist, wobei der Prüfadapter (100, 200): - zumindest einen zum Leistungskontakt (11, 21) korrespondierenden Prüfadapterkontakt (102, 202) aufweist, der auf den Leistungskontakt (11, 21) steckbar ist, und der - zumindest ein Heizelement (103, 203) aufweist, dessen Heizelement-Temperatur einstellbar ist, wobei - der Prüfadapterkontakt (102, 202) zumindest einen Kontaktkörper (104, 204) aufweist, der im thermischen Kontakt mit dem Heizelement (103, 203) ist und - der zumindest einen Kontaktabschnitt aufweist, der so ausgebildet ist, dass er im thermischen Kontakt mit dem Leistungskontakt (11, 21) ist, wenn der Prüfadapterkontakt (102, 202) und der Leistungskontakt (11, 21) in einem ineinandergesteckten Zustand sind.
