Die vorliegende Offenbarung betrifft eine Vorrichtung (200) zum Einstellen einer Fokuslage (z) eines Laserstrahls (10) in einem Laserbearbeitungssystem (100). Die Vorrichtung (200) umfasst eine Recheneinheit, die eingerichtet ist, um einen zeitabhängigen Wert (zt) der Fokuslage (z) zu berechnen, wobei die Recheneinheit den zeitabhängigen Wert (zt) der Fokuslage (z) basierend auf einem ersten Parameter, einem zweiten Parameter und einem dritten Parameter berechnet, und eine Steuereinheit, die eingerichtet ist, um mittels eines Mechanismus zum Einstellen der Fokuslage (z) die Fokuslage (z) des Laserstrahls (10) basierend auf dem zeitabhängigen Wert (zt) der Fokuslage (z) einzustellen.

The present disclosure relates to a device (200) for adjusting a focal position (z) of a laser beam (10) in a laser processing system (100). The device (200) comprises a computing unit which is configured to calculate a time-dependent value zt of the focus position (z), wherein the computing unit calculates the time-dependent value zt of the focus position (z) based on a first parameter, a second parameter and a third parameter, and a control unit which is configured to set the focus position (z) of the laser beam (10) based on the time-dependent value zt of the focus position (z) by means of a mechanism for adjusting the focus position (z).
