The present invention provides a method for modifying pairs of images- (101 ) for improved three-dimensional displaying,, the method comprising analyzing the images (523, 524) for detecting tie angle of incidence of the illuminating light (211, 311, 525, 526, 527, 528) in the images (523, 524), and modifying the luminance values of at least a section of at least one of the images (523, 524) of each pair based on the angle of incidence and anatomical details of the human face. Further, the present invention provides a respective apparatus (100).

La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant de modifier des paires d'images (101) pour un affichage tridimensionnel amélioré, le procédé comprenant l'analyse des images (523, 524) pour détecter l'angle d'incidence de la lumière d'éclairage (211, 311, 525, 526, 527, 528) dans les images (523, 524), et la modification des valeurs de luminance d'au moins une section d'au moins une des images (523, 524) de chaque paire sur la base de l'angle d'incidence et des détails anatomiques du visage humain.
