Abstract
(EN)
A wind turbine comprises a rotor comprising radially outwardly extending blades which are twisted in cross-sectional shape so as to achieve a constant angle of attack. Additionally, the blades are connected at their outer ends to a peripheral rotor ring which is arranged to engage and drive a rotary member of a generation system of the wind turbine that is mounted at a fixed angular position relative to the rotor ring. The wind turbine is operated in a manner which includes determining for each of a plurality of wind speeds a relationship between rotation rate and optimum power output and varying the power output of the generation system to change the load on the rotor to maintain the rotation rate at or adjacent the rotation rate which provides the optimum power output.

L'invention concerne une éolienne qui comprend un rotor comportant des pales s'étendant radialement vers l'extérieur qui sont torsadées en coupe transversale de manière à obtenir un angle d'attaque constant. De plus, les pales sont reliées au niveau de leurs extrémités externes à une bague de rotor périphérique qui est agencée pour venir en prise avec un élément rotatif d'un système de production de l'éolienne qui est monté à une position angulaire fixe par rapport à la bague de rotor. L'éolienne est actionnée à partir d'un procédé qui comprend la détermination pour chaque vitesse d'une pluralité de vitesses de vent d'une relation entre la vitesse de rotation et la sortie de puissance optimale, et la variation de la puissance de sortie du système de production pour modifier la charge sur le rotor afin de maintenir le taux de rotation au niveau ou à proximité du taux de rotation qui fournit la sortie de puissance optimale.
