Abstract

The present disclosure provides a composition for treating urea particles under ambient atmospheric conditions, a method for treating urea particles with the composition and to a fertiliser treated with the composition. The composition functions to reduce moisture induced agglomeration of treated urea particles compared to moisture induced agglomeration of untreated urea particles. The composition includes a solvent and a mixture of a first and a second aliphatic compound, each compound respectively comprising a selected C8-C14 saturated straight chain hydrocarbon a selected C15-C19 saturated straight chain hydrocarbon.

La présente invention concerne une composition de traitement de particules d’urée dans des conditions atmosphériques ambiantes, un procédé de traitement des particules d’urée avec la composition et un engrais traité avec la composition. La composition fonctionne pour réduire l’agglomération induite par l’humidité des particules d’urée traitées comparées à l’agglomération induite par l’humidité des particules d’urée non traitées. La composition comprend un solvant et un mélange d’un premier et d’un second composé aliphatique, chaque composé comprenant respectivement un hydrocarbure sélectionné à chaîne linéaire saturée en C8 à C14 un hydrocarbure sélectionné à chaîne linéaire saturée en C15 à C19 .
