A driving system (100) for tools, such as tapping tools, used in metal-fabricating presses is disclosed, whereby planetary gears (114, 116) are used in the system (100). The driving system (100) further comprises a helix drive (120) which converts a linear driving force (A, fig. 1) into rotational movement to drive the planetary gears (114, 116). The driving systems can enable enhanced tool output as compared to conventional driving mechanisms, while also enabling variable disassembly and configuration of the systems relative to the intended machining operations.

Cette invention concerne des systèmes d'entraînement pour des outils utilisés avec des presses à fabriquer des métaux ou d'autres machines, des engrenages planétaires étant utilisés dans les systèmes, et les systèmes d'entraînement pouvant être construits pour être utilisés avec un outillage particulier, tels que des outils de taraudage. Selon un mode de réalisation cité à titre d'exemple, des systèmes complémentaires peuvent être configurés pour une utilisation avec de tels systèmes d'entraînement.
