Spectacles that control myopia progression have a central zone that achieves foveal vision correction and distributed micro-reticle(s) and corresponding micro-lens(es) around the paracentral and/or peripheral zone of the spectacle. Each micro-lens is disposed between its corresponding micro-reticle and the pupil of a wearer's eye. The micro-reticle(s) and micro-len(s) are integrated with the structure of the spectacle to partially block some of the paracentral and/or peripheral objects from surrounding optical environment. The rest of the paracentral and/or peripheral retinal areas are still available for a wearer's eye to sense the presence and movement of surrounding objects.

La présente invention concerne des lunettes qui régulent la progression de la myopie, comprenant une zone centrale qui assure une correction de la vision fovéale ainsi qu'au moins un micro-réticule réparti et au moins une microlentille correspondante autour de la zone paracentrale et/ou périphérique des lunettes. Ladite microlentille est disposée entre son micro-réticule correspondant et la pupille de l’œil d'un utilisateur. Ledit micro-réticule et ladite micro-lentille sont intégrés à la structure des lunettes de manière à bloquer partiellement une partie des objets paracentraux et/ou périphériques de l'environnement optique environnant. Les zones rétiniennes paracentrales et/ou périphériques restantes restent libres de telle sorte que l’œil d'un utilisateur puisse détecter la présence et le mouvement d'objets environnants.
