A user equipment (UE) configured for multi-antenna communication estimates at least one of a rank indicator and a channel quality indicator for device to device (D2D) based on communication data associated with a plurality of packets communicated using D2D communication and without using a dedicated reference signal for D2D communication. The UE may be configured as at least one of a transmitter (Tx) and a receiver (Rx) for vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication through a sidelink channel.

L'invention concerne un équipement utilisateur (UE) configuré pour une communication à antennes multiples qui estime au moins l'un parmi un indicateur de rang et un indicateur de qualité de canal pour un dispositif à dispositif (D2D) sur la base de données de communication associées à une pluralité de paquets communiqués à l'aide d'une communication D2D et sans utiliser un signal de référence dédié pour une communication D2D. L'UE peut être configuré comme au moins un parmi un émetteur (Tx) et/ou un récepteur (Rx) pour une communication de véhicule à tout (V2X) à travers un canal de liaison latérale.
