A method for fabricating a perforating gun includes forming an expendable hollow carrier (EHC) (300) via a drawing process. The method also includes determining a wall thickness (310) of the EHC (300) is above a threshold. The method includes machining a coupling component (414) to at least one end of the EHC. The method further includes installing perforating components within an interior of the EHC (300).

Un procédé de fabrication d'un perforateur consiste à former un support creux extensible (EHC) (300) par l'intermédiaire d'un procédé d'emboutissage. Le procédé comprend également la détermination d'une épaisseur de paroi (310) de l'EHC (300) supérieure à un seuil. Le procédé comprend l'usinage d'un composant de couplage (414) à au moins une extrémité de l'EHC.
