Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a connection release message, the connection release message including a resource indicator indicating that a set of resources are to be used for grant-free uplink transmissions by the UE while operating in a disconnected state. The UE may transition from a connected state to a disconnected state based at least in part on the connection release message. The UE may perform, while operating in the disconnected state, the grant-free uplink transmissions using the set of resources.

L’invention concerne des procédés, des systèmes et des dispositifs pour les communications sans fil. Un équipement utilisateur (UE) peut recevoir un message de libération de connexion, le message de libération de connexion comprenant un indicateur de ressource indiquant qu'un ensemble de ressources doit être utilisé pour des transmissions en liaison montante sans octroi de ressources par l'UE lorsque fonctionnant dans un état déconnecté. L'UE peut passer d'un état connecté à un état déconnecté sur la base, au moins en partie, du message de libération de connexion. L'UE peut effectuer, lorsque fonctionnant dans l'état déconnecté, les transmissions en liaison montante sans octroi de ressources utilisant l'ensemble de ressources.
