Abstract

The present invention relates to the design, fabrication and applications of three-dimensional (3D) bioreactor for cell expansion and cell secreted substance production. The bioreactors have relatively low levels of potentially cytotoxic compounds, can be coated with substituted or unsubstituted poly(p-xylene) type coatings and can also be separately formed from liquid crystal photopolymerizable monomers.

La présente invention concerne la conception, la fabrication et les applications d'un bioréacteur tridimensionnel pour l'expansion cellulaire et la production de substances sécrétées par des cellules. Les bioréacteurs présentent des niveaux relativement faibles de composés potentiellement cytotoxiques, peuvent être revêtus de revêtements de type poly(p-xylène) substitués ou non substitués et peuvent également être formés séparément à partir de monomères photopolymérisables à cristaux liquides.
