Abstract

A network node (12) schedules a wireless communications device (14) to utilize a subsection (54) of a previously configured active bandwidth part (46). The wireless communications device (14) utilizes the subsection (54) for operations such as monitoring for control signaling from the network node (12), channel measurements, and/or for communication between the wireless communications device (14) and the network node (12) (e.g. uplink and/or downlink traffic). Accordingly, the wireless communications device (14) may reduce power consumption by not monitoring and/or using a wider bandwidth.

L'invention concerne un nœud de réseau (12) qui programme l'utilisation par un dispositif de communication sans fil (14) d'une sous-section (54) d'une partie de bande passante active précédemment configurée (46). Le dispositif de communication sans fil (14) utilise la sous-section (54) pour des opérations telles qu'une surveillance d'une signalisation de commande provenant du nœud de réseau (12), des mesures de canal et/ou une communication entre le dispositif de communication sans fil (14) et le nœud de réseau (par exemple, un trafic de liaison montante et/ou de liaison descendante).
