A circuit arrangement includes an encryption circuit and a decryption circuit. A cryptographic shell circuit has a transmit channel and a receive channel in parallel with the transmit channel. The transmit channel includes an encryption interface circuit coupled to the encryption circuit. The encryption interface circuit determines first cryptographic parameters based on data in a plaintext input packet and inputs the first cryptographic parameters and plaintext input packet to the encryption circuit. The receive channel includes a decryption interface circuit coupled to the decryption circuit. The decryption interface circuit determines second cryptographic parameters based on data in a ciphertext input packet and inputs the second cryptographic parameters and ciphertext input packet to the decryption circuit. The encryption circuit encrypts the plaintext input packet based on the first cryptographic parameters, and the decryption circuit decrypts the ciphertext input packet based on the second cryptographic parameters.

L'invention concerne un agencement de circuits comprenant un circuit de chiffrement et un circuit de déchiffrement. Un circuit de coquille cryptographique possède un canal d'émission et un canal de réception en parallèle avec le canal d'émission. Le canal d'émission comprend un circuit d'interface de chiffrement couplé au circuit de chiffrement. Le circuit d'interface de chiffrement détermine des premiers paramètres cryptographiques d'après des données figurant dans un paquet d'entrée de texte clair et introduit les premiers paramètres cryptographiques et le paquet d'entrée de texte clair dans le circuit de chiffrement. Le canal de réception comprend un circuit d'interface de déchiffrement couplé au circuit de déchiffrement. Le circuit d'interface de déchiffrement détermine des seconds paramètres cryptographiques d'après des données figurant dans un paquet d'entrée de cryptogramme et introduit les seconds paramètres cryptographiques et le paquet d'entrée de cryptogramme dans le circuit de déchiffrement. Le circuit de chiffrement chiffre le paquet d'entrée de texte clair d'après les premiers paramètres cryptographiques, et le circuit de déchiffrement déchiffre le paquet d'entrée de cryptogramme d'après les seconds paramètres cryptographiques.
