Techniques to configure a source base station (SBS) for conditional handover and data forwarding between the SBS and a target base station (TBS) are discussed. A measurement report received from a UE is decoded, the measurement report triggered based on a first threshold associated with a configured measurement event. RRC signaling is encoded for transmission to the UE, the RRC signaling including a conditional handover command for handover from the SBS to the TBS. The conditional handover command indicates a second threshold for the measurement event, the second threshold being higher than the first threshold. At least one notification message from the TBS and/or the UE is decoded, where the at least one notification message indicates successful completion of the handover and attachment of the UE to the TBS. UE uplink data and UE downlink data are encoded for forwarding to the TBS, based on the notification message.

L'invention concerne des techniques pour configurer une station de base source (SBS) pour un transfert intercellulaire (HO) conditionnel et un transfert de données entre la SBS et une station de base cible (TBS). Un rapport de mesure reçu d'un UE est décodé, le rapport de mesure étant déclenché sur la base d'un premier seuil associé à un événement de mesure configuré. Une signalisation RRC est codée pour une transmission à l'UE, la signalisation RRC comprenant une commande de transfert intercellulaire conditionnel pour un transfert intercellulaire de la SBS à la TBS. La commande de transfert intercellulaire conditionnel indique un second seuil pour l'événement de mesure, le second seuil étant supérieur au premier seuil. Au moins un message de notification provenant de la TBS et/ou de l'UE est décodé, ledit message de notification indiquant l'achèvement réussi du transfert intercellulaire et la fixation de l'UE à la TBS. Des données de liaison montante d'UE et des données de liaison descendante d'UE sont codées pour être transférées à la TBS, sur la base du message de notification.
