Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for color imaging. In one aspect, a method includes obtaining, by an image sensor that includes pixels for detecting a first color and pixels for detecting a second color, a first image of a scene while the image sensor is in a first position, moving the image sensor to a second position, wherein, in the second position, a particular pixel for detecting the first color is located where a particular pixel for detecting the second color was previously located when the image sensor was in the first position, obtaining, by the image sensor, a second image of the scene while the image sensor is in the second position, generating a composite image based on the first image and the second image, and providing the composite image for output.

L'invention concerne des procédés, des systèmes et un appareil, incluant des programmes d’ordinateur codés sur un support de stockage informatique, pour l'imagerie en couleur. Selon un aspect, un procédé consiste à : obtenir, par un capteur d'image qui comprend des pixels servant à détecter une première couleur et des pixels servant à détecter une deuxième couleur, une première image d'une scène pendant que le capteur d'image se trouve dans une première position ; déplacer le capteur d'image vers une deuxième position dans laquelle un pixel particulier servant à détecter la première couleur est situé à l'endroit où était situé précédemment un pixel particulier servant à détecter la deuxième couleur lorsque le capteur d'image se trouvait dans la première position ; obtenir, par le capteur d'image, une deuxième image de la scène tandis que le capteur d'image se trouve dans la deuxième position ; générer une image composite sur la base de la première image et de la deuxième image ; et produire l'image composite pour la sortie.
