A method by a wireless device (110) includes determining that the wireless device has data to transmit on at least one logical channel of a priority N. The logical channel is associated with at least one logical channel group. The method further includes generating, by the wireless device, a buffer status report of type N, BSR N,for the at least one logical channel of the priority N and prioritizing a transmission of the BSR N for the at least one logical channel of priority N over a data transmission for at least one other logical channel that has a priority that is higher than the priority N.

L'invention concerne un procédé exécuté par un dispositif sans fil (110). Le procédé consiste à déterminer que le dispositif sans fil a des données devant être transmises sur au moins un canal logique d'une priorité N, le canal logique étant associé à au moins un groupe de canaux logiques. Le procédé consiste en outre à : générer, par le dispositif sans fil, un rapport d'état de tampon de type N (BSR N), pour le ou les canaux logiques de la priorité N; et prioriser une transmission du BSR N pour le ou les canaux logiques de priorité N sur une transmission de données d'au moins un autre canal logique dont une priorité est supérieure à la priorité N.
