A milking system comprises a milking means, a milk line, and a sampling and analysis device (14) for milk from the milk line, that comprises a control unit (25), a carrier (33) with reagent pads (34) to detect a substance in the sample, a dosing device to dose a sample onto a reagent pad, an sensor device (28) to detect radiation from that reagent pad, and to analyse the detected radiation to indicate a presence or concentration of said substance. The dosing device comprises a nozzle (41) with a supply line, a pump (45) for pumping liquid to the nozzle, a flat wall part (53-2), and a mover to press the flat wall part and the nozzle against each other to close the nozzle. In this way, the nozzle can be filled completely to a known level and without bubbles. Thereafter, the sample pump can provide a sample droplet with known volume, which enables better control over the sample supply process.

L'invention concerne un système de traite comprenant un moyen de traite, un lactoduc et un dispositif d'échantillonnage et d'analyse (14) pour le lait provenant du lactoduc, qui comprend une unité de commande (25), un support (33) doté de tampons de réactif (34) destinés à détecter une substance dans l'échantillon, un dispositif de dosage permettant de doser un échantillon sur le tampon d'agent, un dispositif de capteur (28) destiné à détecter un rayonnement en provenance de ce tampon de réactif et à analyser le rayonnement détecté pour indiquer une présence ou une concentration de ladite substance. Le dispositif de dosage comprend une buse (41) dotée d'une ligne d'alimentation, une pompe (45) destinée à pomper un liquide vers la buse, une partie de paroi plate (53-2) et un dispositif de déplacement permettant de presser la partie de paroi plate et la buse l'une contre l'autre pour fermer la buse. De cette manière, la buse peut être complètement remplie à un niveau connu et sans bulle. Ensuite, la pompe d'échantillon peut fournir une gouttelette d'échantillon d'un volume connu, ce qui permet d'obtenir une meilleure commande sur le processus d'alimentation en échantillon.
