Abstract

A method of operating an Integrated Access Backhaul, IAB, node in a wireless communication network is provided. The IAB node is arranged to communicate backhaul traffic wirelessly with a parent node and a child node. The method comprises: receiving a duplexing pattern configuration message from the parent node; transmitting a duplexing pattern configuration message to the child node; receiving a duplexing pattern configuration acknowledgment message from the child node; after receiving the duplexing pattern configuration acknowledgment message from the child node, applying a duplexing pattern contained within the duplexing pattern configuration message received from the parent node; and transmitting a duplexing pattern configuration acknowledgement message to the parent node.

L'invention concerne un procédé de mise en œuvre d'un nœud de liaison terrestre à accès intégré, IAB, dans un réseau de communication sans fil. Le nœud d'IAB est conçu afin de communiquer un trafic de liaison terrestre sans fil avec un nœud parent et avec un nœud enfant. Le procédé consiste à recevoir un message de configuration de motif de duplexage provenant du nœud parent; à transmettre un message de configuration de motif de duplexage au nœud enfant; à recevoir un message d'accusé de réception de configuration de motif de duplexage provenant du nœud enfant; après réception du message d'accusé de réception de configuration de motif de duplexage provenant du nœud enfant, à appliquer un motif de duplexage contenu dans le message de configuration de motif de duplexage reçu en provenance du nœud parent; et à transmettre un message d'accusé de réception de configuration de motif de duplexage au nœud parent.
