A hollow drive shaft using an upsetting method and a manufacturing method therefor apply hot forging and an upsetting method to both ends of a workpiece to upset the outer diameter of both ends of the workpiece to be larger than the outer diameter of the middle part of the workpiece, such that a drive shaft can be reduced in weight and a greater drive force can be transmitted. As the present invention applies an upsetting method in hot forging during the manufacture of a hollow drive shaft, portions to be actually processed are limited to both ends of the workpiece, and the finishing number of upsets is a minimum number of times (such as two times), such that the initial investment cost and manufacturing costs are low due to the small number of processes. Moreover, since the hollow drive shaft is manufactured by the upsetting method rather than a swaging method, manufacturing costs are reduced and performance of the drive shaft is improved.

L'invention concerne un arbre d'entraînement creux formé à l'aide d'un procédé de refoulement et un procédé de fabrication s'y rapportant, appliquant un forgeage à chaud et un procédé de refoulement aux deux extrémités d'une pièce pour refouler le diamètre externe des deux extrémités de la pièce pour qu'il soit plus grand que le diamètre externe de la partie centrale de la pièce, de façon telle qu'un arbre d'entraînement peut être allégé et qu'une force d'entraînement plus grande peut être transmise. Comme la présente invention applique un procédé de refoulement lors du forgeage à chaud pendant la fabrication d'un arbre d'entraînement creux, les parties devant être véritablement transformées sont limitées aux deux extrémités de la pièce et le nombre de refoulements de finissage est un nombre minimal de fois (tel que deux fois), de façon telle que le coût d'investissement initial et les coûts de fabrication sont faibles en raison du petit nombre de procédés. De plus, étant donné que l'arbre d'entraînement creux est fabriqué par le procédé de refoulement plutôt qu'un procédé de rétreinte, les coûts de fabrication sont réduits et les performances de l'arbre d'entraînement sont améliorées.

업세팅 공법을 이용한 중공 드라이브 샤프트 및 이의 제조 방법은 열간 단조와 업세팅 공법을 소재의 양단 부분에 적용하여 소재의 중간부의 외경보다 소재의 양단 부분의 외경이 커지도록 업세팅하여 드라이브 샤프트의 경량화와 더 큰 구동력을 전달할 수 있다. 본 발명은 중공 드라이브 샤프트의 제조 시 열간 단조에서 업세팅 공법을 적용하고, 실질적인 가공이 이루어지는 부분이 소재의 양단 일부분으로 국한되며, 업세팅 횟수도 최소 횟수(2회 등)로 마무리되므로 공정 수가 적어서 초기 투자비와 제조 비용이 저렴한 효과가 있으며, 중공 드라이브 샤프트를 스웨징 공법이 아닌 업세팅 공법으로 제조하여 제조 원가가 절감되고 드라이브 샤프트의 성능을 향상시킬 수 있다.
