This electrode (10) for lithium ion secondary batteries is provided with a current collector (20) and an electrode active material layer (30) that is provided on the current collector and that includes an electrode active material and a binder. At least part of an end (31) of the electrode active material layer (30) is formed from an inclined section (31) in which the thickness decreases as the distance from a central section (32) of the electrode active material layer (30) increases. An edge factor represented by the ratio (W/T) of the width (W) of the inclined section (31) to the thickness (T) of the electrode active material layer (30) is 3 or more, and the width (W) of the inclined section (31) is less than 1,000 µm. A lithium ion secondary battery according to the present invention is provided with the electrode for lithium ion secondary batteries. The present invention makes it possible to provide an electrode for lithium ion secondary batteries enabling a high electrode utilization rate and the suppression of the occurrence of powder loss, and a lithium ion secondary battery provided with the electrode.

La présente invention concerne une électrode (10) pour accumulateurs lithium-ion qui comporte un collecteur de courant (20) et une couche de matériau actif d’électrode (30) qui est disposée sur le collecteur de courant et qui inclut un matériau actif d’électrode et un liant. Au moins une partie d’une extrémité (31) de la couche de matériau actif d’électrode (30) est formée à partir d’une section inclinée (31) dans laquelle l’épaisseur décroît à mesure que la distance à une section centrale (32) de la couche de matériau actif d’électrode (30) croît. Un facteur de bord représenté par le ratio (W/T) de la largeur (W) de la section inclinée (31) par rapport à l’épaisseur (T) de la couche de matériau actif d’électrode (30) est supérieur ou égal à 3, et la largeur (W) de la section inclinée (31) est inférieure à 1 000 µm.
