The present invention provides a brake control device in which hydraulic pressure is supplied by means of hydraulic pressure supply sources 13, 57 to wheel cylinders 541 to 544, by way of a hydraulic pressure supply passage A, and which regulates braking hydraulic pressures, which are the hydraulic pressures in the wheel cylinders 541 to 544, by means of solenoid valves 52, 53 provided in the hydraulic pressure supply passage A, wherein the brake control device is provided with: a control unit 61 which, with respect to holding the solenoid valves 52, 53 in an operating state, applies a holding current, set at least to the minimum required current required to hold the solenoid valves 52, 53 in the operating state, to the solenoid valves 52, 53; and a current adjusting unit 62 which adjusts the holding current on the basis of a change in a braking condition.
