Provided is an inactivated whole-virus influenza vaccine of which the antibody induction ability is maintained or enhanced and which causes reduced side reactions. A method for preparing an inactivated whole-virus influenza vaccine using an embryonated chick assay, comprising the step of subjecting a virus solution containing influenza virus whole particles collected from an embryonated chicken egg to a hypotonic treatment.

L'invention concerne un vaccin contre la grippe à virus entier inactivé dont la capacité d'induction d'anticorps est préservée ou améliorée et qui est à l'origine de réactions secondaires réduites. L'invention concerne également un procédé de préparation d'un vaccin contre la grippe à virus entier inactivé faisant appel à un essai utilisant des œufs de poulet embryonnés, comprenant l'étape consistant à soumettre une solution virale contenant des particules entières de virus de la grippe provenant d'un œuf de poulet embryonné à un traitement hypotonique.
