A motor unit according to one embodiment of the present invention is a motor unit which is mounted in a vehicle to drive the vehicle. The motor unit is provided with a main body portion including a motor and an inverter for supplying electric power to the motor, and an acoustic cover covering at least part of an upper side of the main body portion. The acoustic cover overlaps at least part of the motor and at least part of the inverter when viewed in a vertical direction. The acoustic cover includes a decorative board, and a sound absorbing layer which comprises a sound absorbing material and which is positioned between the main body portion and the decorative board.

Un mode de réalisation selon la présente invention concerne une unité moteur qui est montée dans un véhicule pour propulser le véhicule. L'unité moteur est pourvue d'une portion de corps principal comprenant un moteur et un onduleur pour fournir de l'énergie électrique au moteur, et d'un capot acoustique qui recouvre au moins une partie d'un côté supérieur de la portion de corps principal.
