The present invention provides an ion exchange membrane having excellent durability and an electrolysis apparatus. An ion exchange membrane according to the present invention comprises a fluorine-containing polymer having an ion exchange group and a reinforcement fabric; the reinforcement fabric contains a first reinforcement yarn and a second reinforcement yarn that intersects with the first reinforcement yarn; and if R1 is the loop stiffness in the direction along the first reinforcement yarn and R2 is the loop stiffness in the direction along the second reinforcement yarn, the ratio of R1 to R2 is from 0.60 to 1.0.

La présente invention concerne une membrane échangeuse d'ions ayant une excellente durabilité et un appareil d'électrolyse. Une membrane échangeuse d'ions selon la présente invention comprend un polymère contenant du fluor contenant un groupe échangeur d'ions et un tissu de renforcement ; le tissu de renforcement contient un premier fil de renforcement et un second fil de renforcement qui croise le premier fil de renforcement ; et si R1 représente la rigidité de boucle dans la direction le long du premier fil de renforcement et R2 représente la rigidité de boucle dans la direction le long du second fil de renforcement, le rapport de R1 à R2 est de 0,60 à 1,0.
