A nondestructive inspecting system 1 includes a neutron source 2 capable of radiating fast neutrons, and a neutron detecting unit 3, wherein the neutron detecting unit 3 is provided with a collimator 30 in which a plurality of through passages P extending in the same direction are formed, and in which a wall material forming the through passages comprises a material that allows fast neutrons to pass through and absorbs slow neutrons, and a neutron detecting unit 20 capable of detecting slow neutrons from an object O being inspected, and wherein the collimator 30 is disposed in contact with a detecting surface of the neutron detecting unit 20, in such a way that the through passages P are perpendicular to the detecting surface.

L'invention concerne un système d'inspection non destructive (1) comprenant une source de neutrons (2) permettant de faire rayonner des neutrons rapides, et une unité de détection de neutrons (3). l'unité de détection de neutrons (3) comprenant un collimateur (30) dans lequel une pluralité de passages traversants (P) s'étendant dans la même direction sont formés, et dans lequel un matériau de paroi formant les passages traversants comprend un matériau qui permet aux neutrons rapides de traverser et d'absorber les neutrons lents, et une unité de détection de neutrons (20) permettant de détecter les neutrons lents à partir d'un objet (O) en cours d'inspection, le collimateur (30) étant disposé en contact avec une surface de détection de l'unité de détection de neutrons (20), de telle sorte que les passages traversants (P) sont perpendiculaires à la surface de détection.

非破壊検査システム1は、高速中性子を照射可能な中性子源2と、中性子検出ユニット3とを有し、当該中性子検出ユニット3は、同一方向に延びる複数の貫通路Pが形成され、当該貫通路を形成する壁材が高速中性子を透過し熱中性子を吸収する素材からなるコリメータ30と、被検査物Oからの熱中性子を検出可能な中性子検出部20と、を備え、コリメータ30は、貫通路Pが中性子検出部20の検出面と垂直をなすように当該検出面と当接して配置されている。
