One embodiment of the present invention provides an internal combustion engine diagnosing device. An internal combustion engine 1 is provided with a variable displacement type turbocharger 14, wherein the turbocharger includes a variable vane 28, a link mechanism for operating the variable vane, and an actuator 29 for driving the link mechanism. A diagnosing device is provided with a control unit 100 configured to control the actuator in such a way as to control a degree of opening of the variable vane. When an operating time of the internal combustion engine in a predetermined operating region exceeds a predetermined upper limit, and a pressure difference between a target boost pressure determined in accordance with the operating state of the internal combustion engine and an actual boost pressure exceeds a predetermined upper limit, the control unit determines that an abnormality has occurred in the link mechanism of the turbocharger.

Un mode de réalisation de la présente invention concerne un dispositif de diagnostic de moteur à combustion interne. Un moteur à combustion interne (1) est pourvu d'un turbocompresseur de type à déplacement variable (14), le turbocompresseur comprenant une aube variable (28), un mécanisme de liaison pour faire fonctionner l'aube variable et un actionneur (29) pour entraîner le mécanisme de liaison. Un dispositif de diagnostic est pourvu d'une unité de commande (100) configurée pour commander l'actionneur de manière à commander un degré d'ouverture de l'aube variable. Lorsqu'un temps de fonctionnement du moteur à combustion interne dans une région de fonctionnement prédéfinie dépasse une limite supérieure prédéfinie et une différence de pression entre une pression de suralimentation cible déterminée en fonction de l'état de fonctionnement du moteur à combustion interne et une pression de suralimentation réelle dépasse une limite supérieure prédéfinie, l'unité de commande détermine qu'une anomalie s'est produite dans le mécanisme de liaison du turbocompresseur.
