A sealing agent for organic electroluminescent display elements, which contains: a cationically polymerizable compound that contains an alicyclic compound having an epoxy group and an aromatic compound having an epoxy group; a cationic photopolymerization initiator; and two or more curing retardants that are selected from the group consisting of phosphoric acid-based curing retardants, ether-based curing retardants, metal complex-based curing retardants and nitroxyl radical-based curing retardants. The phosphoric acid-based curing retardants are selected from the group consisting of phosphate esters and phosphite esters.

L'invention cocnerne un agent d'étanchéité pour des éléments d'affichage électroluminescents organiques, qui contient : un composé polymérisable par voie cationique qui contient un composé alicyclique ayant un groupe époxy et un composé aromatique ayant un groupe époxy; un initiateur de photopolymérisation cationique; et au moins deux retardateurs de durcissement qui sont choisis dans le groupe constitué par des agents de durcissement à base d'acide phosphorique, des agents de durcissement à base d'éther, des agents de durcissement à base de complexe métallique et des agents de durcissement à base de radicaux nitroxyle. Les agents de durcissement à base d'acide phosphorique sont choisis dans le groupe constitué par des esters de phosphate et des esters de phosphite.
