Disclosed are: a polarization module which is provided with a polarizer that is formed by arraying a plurality of plate-like polarization elements in one direction so as to have ends of respective adjacent polarization elements overlap with each other, and fixation members for fixing the respective polarization elements, wherein the lateral faces of the overlapping ends of the respective adjacent polarization elements are shielded from light; a polarized light irradiation device which is provided with said polarization module; and an optical film production method that uses said polarized light irradiation device.

L'invention concerne : un module de polarisation qui est pourvu d'un polariseur qui est formé par agencement d'une pluralité d'éléments de polarisation de type plaque dans une direction de façon à ce que des extrémités d'éléments de polarisation adjacents respectifs se chevauchent mutuellement, et des éléments de fixation pour fixer les éléments de polarisation respectifs, les faces latérales des extrémités se chevauchant des éléments de polarisation adjacents respectifs étant protégées de la lumière ; un dispositif d'irradiation de lumière polarisée qui est pourvu dudit module de polarisation ; et un procédé de production de film optique qui utilise ledit dispositif d'irradiation de lumière polarisée.
