This display device comprises: a substrate; a plurality of pixels which are provided on the substrate; a light emitting element and a plurality of transistors, which are provided in each one of the plurality of pixels; a plurality of signal lines for supplying a signal to the pixels; a power supply line for supplying a drive potential to the pixels; a first metal layer, a second metal layer and a third metal layer, which are provided in different layers in a direction perpendicular to the substrate; a first insulating film which is provided between the first metal layer and the second metal layer; and a second insulating film which is provided between the second metal layer and the third metal layer. Each one of the plurality of transistors comprises a semiconductor layer which is provided on the substrate and a gate electrode which is formed of the first metal layer and is provided in a region that overlaps with the semiconductor layer; and one or more lines among the plurality of signal lines and the power supply line are formed of the third metal layer, and are electrically connected to the transistors.
