Provided are an image processing device, an imaging device, an image processing method, and an image processing program capable of performing, in accordance with a first video imaging mode and a second video imaging mode for which the respective imaging conditions differ, suitable compression processing on a video captured in each video imaging mode. The possible range of a quantization parameter applied when a video is compressed is varied between the first video imaging mode and the second video imaging mode, for which the respective imaging conditions differ. For the first video imaging mode, the quantization parameter is set within a first range, and for the second video imaging mode, the quantization parameter is set within a second range that is narrower than the first range. In particular, a second upper limit value of the second range is smaller than a first upper limit value of the first range, and a second lower limit value of the second range is larger than a first lower limit value of the first range.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de traitement d'image, un dispositif d'imagerie, un procédé de traitement d'image et un programme de traitement d'image pouvant effectuer, en fonction d'un premier mode d'imagerie vidéo et d'un second mode d'imagerie vidéo pour lesquels les conditions d'imagerie respectives diffèrent, un traitement de compression approprié sur une vidéo capturée dans chaque mode d'imagerie vidéo. La plage possible d'un paramètre de quantification appliqué lorsqu'une vidéo est comprimée varie entre le premier mode d'imagerie vidéo et le second mode d'imagerie vidéo, pour lesquels les conditions d'imagerie respectives diffèrent. Pour le premier mode d'imagerie vidéo, le paramètre de quantification est réglé dans une première plage, et pour le second mode d'imagerie vidéo, le paramètre de quantification est réglé dans une seconde plage qui est plus étroite que la première plage. En particulier, une seconde valeur limite supérieure de la seconde plage est inférieure à une première valeur limite supérieure de la première plage, et une seconde valeur limite inférieure de la seconde plage est supérieure à une première valeur limite inférieure de la première plage.

撮影条件が異なる第1動画撮影モード及び第2動画撮影モードに応じて、各動画撮影モードにより撮影される動画に対して好適な圧縮処理を行うことができる画像処理装置、撮像装置、画像処理方法及び画像処理プログラムを提供する。撮影条件が異なる第1動画撮影モードと第2動画撮影モードとでは、動画を圧縮する場合に適用される量子化パラメータのとり得る範囲を異ならせる。第1動画撮影モードの場合、第1範囲内で量子化パラメータを決定し、第2動画撮影モードの場合、第 1範囲よりも狭い第2範囲内で量子化パラメータを決定する。特に第2範囲の第2上限値は第1範囲の第1上限値よりも小さくし、第2範囲の第2下限値は第1範囲の第1下限値よりも大きくする。
