In the present invention, where L1 is a virtual straight line which passes through point A and is parallel to the tire width direction, L3 is a virtual straight line which passes through point B and is parallel to the tire width direction, point C is the intersection of a virtual straight line L2 and a tire side section (30), point D is the intersection of the virtual straight line L2 and a carcass (40), S is the distance from point C to point D, the tread width TW is the distance along the tire width direction from a tread end TE to a tire equator CL, point E is a position on a tread section (20), L4 is a virtual perpendicular line intersecting with the tread section (20) at a right angle, point F is the intersection of the virtual perpendicular line L4 and a belt (50c) provided furthest to the outside in the tire radial direction in a belt layer (50), and X is the distance from point E to point F, the distance along the tire width direction from point E to the tire equator CL is 88% of the tread width TW. The distance S is 1-6 mm. The value obtained by subtracting the distance S from the distance X is no greater than 8 mm.
