La présente invention concerne un matériau actif d'électrode positive qui est un oxyde composite représenté par la formule générale LiaNixCoyMnzMbO2, où 0,9 < a < 1,1, 0,4 ≤ x < 1,0, 0 ≤ y < 0,4, 0 ≤ z < 0,4, 0 ≤ b < 0,2, 0,9 < (x + y + z + b) < 1,1, et l'élément M comprenant au moins un élément choisi dans le groupe comprenant du Ti, du Zr, du Hf, du V, du Nb, du Ta, du Cr, du Mo, du W, de l'Al, du Ga, et de l'In. Le rapport (B/A) de la surface spécifique BET (A) avant le test de compression de particules et de la surface spécifique BET (B) après le test de compression de particules des particules d'oxyde composite est de 1,0 à 3,0.

正極活物質は、一般式LiaNixCoyMnzb2で表され、0.9<a<1.1、0.4≦x<1.0、0≦y<0.4、0≦z<0.4、0≦b<0.2、0.9<(x+y+z+b)<1.1を満たし、元素MはTi,Zr,Hf,V,Nb,Ta,Cr,Mo,W,Al,Ga,Inよりなる群から少なくとも1種を含む複合酸化物であり、複合酸化物粒子は、粒子圧縮試験前のBET比表面積(A)と粒子圧縮試験後のBET比表面積(B)の比(B/A)が1.0以上3.0以下である。
