The purpose of the invention is to provide a paper feeding roller that can prevent paper transportation failures over a long time. Provided is a paper feeding roller 10 comprising a shaft 12 and an elastic body layer 14 formed on the outer circumference of the shaft 12, wherein: a plurality of raised portions 16 forming an uneven surface is provided on the circumferential face of the elastic body layer 14; when a glass plate is pressed against the circumferential face of the paper feeding roller 10 with a load of 0.5 to 2.3 N per 1 cm of length in the axial direction, the percentage of the contact area of one raised portion 16 in a contact area per 1 cm of length in the axial direction of a portion in contact with a glass face is 0.005 to 10%; and the cross-sectional area S of regions formed by lower portions between adjacent raised portions 16 and the glass plate is 1/10 or more of the value indicated by the product of the contact length L between the raised portions 16 and the glass plate, and the expected height h of the paper dust.

L'objet de l'invention est de fournir un rouleau d'alimentation en papier apte à empêcher des défaillances dans le transport de papier sur une longue durée. L'invention concerne un rouleau d'alimentation en papier (10) comprenant un arbre (12) et une couche de corps élastique (14) formée sur la circonférence externe de l'arbre (12). Une pluralité de parties en relief (16) formant une surface irrégulière sont disposées sur la face circonférentielle de la couche de corps élastique (14) ; lorsqu'une plaque de verre est pressée contre la face circonférentielle du rouleau d'alimentation en papier (10) avec une charge de 0,5 à 2,3 N par 1 cm de longueur dans la direction axiale, le pourcentage de la surface de contact d'une partie en relief (16) dans une zone de contact par 1 cm de longueur dans la direction axiale d'une partie en contact avec une face en verre est de 0,005 à 10 % ; et la superficie en coupe S de régions formées par des parties basses entre des parties en relief (16) adjacentes et la plaque de verre est supérieure ou égale à 1/10 de la valeur indiquée par le produit de la longueur de contact L entre les parties en relief (16) et la plaque de verre, et la hauteur attendue h de la poussière de papier.
