For the purpose of improving the luminance and the luminous efficiency, a light emitting device according to the present invention is provided with: a positive electrode; a negative electrode; a light emitting layer which is provided between the positive electrode and the negative electrode; and a hole transport layer which is provided between the positive electrode and the light emitting layer, and which contains a metal oxide and carbon that is adjusted to a predetermined content ratio.

Dans le but d'améliorer la luminance et l'efficacité lumineuse, un dispositif électroluminescent selon la présente invention comprend : une électrode positive; une électrode négative; une couche électroluminescente qui est disposée entre l'électrode positive et l'électrode négative; et une couche de transport de trous qui est disposée entre l'électrode positive et la couche électroluminescente, et qui contient un oxyde métallique et du carbone sont la teneur est ajustée en fonction d'un rapport de teneurs prédéterminé.
