The display device according to the present invention comprises: a base substrate; a light emitting device that is provided on the base substrate via a TFT layer and constitutes a display region; a sealing film that covers the light emitting device and includes a first inorganic insulation film and a second inorganic insulation film laminated in this order; a frame region that surrounds the display region; a notch section that is provided in the frame region so as to cut off a part of the display region; a notch peripheral wall that is provided at the frame region between the display region and the notch section along the boundary of the display region; a deposition film that is provided between the notch peripheral wall and the first inorganic insulation film; and an organic buffer layer that is provided on a surface of the notch peripheral wall so as to be sandwiched by the first and second inorganic insulation films. With this configuration, the sealing performance of the sealing film in the display device can be secured even though the notch section is provided in the display region.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'affichage qui comporte : un substrat de base ; un dispositif électroluminescent qui est situé sur le substrat de base par l'intermédiaire d'une couche TFT et constitue une région d'affichage ; un film d'étanchéité qui recouvre le dispositif électroluminescent et comprend un premier film d'isolation inorganique et un second film d'isolation inorganique stratifiés dans cet ordre ; une région de cadre qui entoure la région d'affichage ; une section d'encoche qui est située dans la région de cadre de façon à couper une partie de la région d'affichage ; une paroi périphérique d'encoche qui est située au niveau de la région de cadre entre la région d'affichage et la section d'encoche le long de la limite de la région d'affichage ; un film de dépôt qui est situé entre la paroi périphérique d'encoche et le premier film d'isolation inorganique ; et une couche tampon organique qui est située sur une surface de la paroi périphérique d'encoche de façon à être prise en sandwich par les premier et second films d'isolation inorganique. Selon cette configuration, les performances d'étanchéité du film d'étanchéité dans le dispositif d'affichage peuvent être assurées même si la section d'encoche est située dans la région d'affichage.
