A system for cleaning solar panels (photo-electric and/or water heating etc.) is driven by fluid driven motor (water and/or air driven motor) such as a piston motor or a vane motor. Some or all of the outlet water/air from the motor is used for cleaning the panels. The motor preferably also operates a cleaning mechanism, such as a rotating and or linear brush arrangement. The motor, gear system and/or components may be made from plastic. Optionally, a cleaning device travels along the edges of panels, optionally without requiring an additional rail structure. The cleaning device optionally includes a trailing water/air supply hose. In some embodiments, electrical components of the cleaning device are powered by an internal power supply. Control is optionally via an electrically actuated valve, a timer (for example a real time clock), a wireless receiver and/or a controller.

L'invention concerne un système de nettoyage de panneaux solaires (photo-électriques et/ou de chauffage d'eau, etc.) entraîné par un moteur entraîné par un fluide (moteur entraîné par eau et/ou par air), tel qu'un moteur à piston ou un moteur à palettes. Une partie ou la totalité de l'eau/l'air de sortie en provenance du moteur est utilisée pour nettoyer les panneaux. De préférence, le moteur fait également fonctionner un mécanisme de nettoyage, tel qu'un agencement de brosses rotatives et/ou linéaires. Le moteur, le système d'engrenages et/ou les éléments peuvent être en plastique. Éventuellement, un dispositif de nettoyage se déplace le long des bords des panneaux, éventuellement sans nécessiter de structure de rail supplémentaire. Le dispositif de nettoyage comprend éventuellement un tuyau flexible arrière d'alimentation en eau/air. Selon certains modes de réalisation, des composants électriques du dispositif de nettoyage sont alimentés par une alimentation électrique interne. La commande se fait éventuellement par l'intermédiaire d'une soupape actionnée électriquement, d'un temporisateur (par exemple une horloge en temps réel), d'un récepteur sans fil et/ou d'un dispositif de commande.
