An oil-injected multi-stage compressor system,that comprises at least a low-pressure stage compressor element (2) with an inlet (4a) and an outlet (5a) and a high-pressure stage compressor element (3) with an inlet (4b) and an outlet (5b), whereby the outlet (5a) of the low-pressure stage compressor element (2) is connected to the inlet (4b) of the high- pressure stage compressor element (3) through a pipeline (6), characterized in that the compressor elements (2, 3 ) are provided with their own drive in the form,of an electric motor (2a, 3a), whereby the compressor elements (2, 3) are connected to the electric motor (2a, 3a) either directly or through a gearbox and that an intercooler (9) is provided in the aforementioned pipeline (6) between the low-pressure stage compressor element (2) and the high-pressure stage compressor element (3).

L'invention concerne un système de compresseur à étages multiples et à injection d'huile, comprenant au moins un élément compresseur d'étage basse pression (2) pourvu d'un orifice d'entrée (4a) et d'un orifice de sortie (5a) et un élément compresseur d'étage haute pression (3) pourvu d'un orifice d'entrée (4b) et d'un orifice de sortie (5b), l'orifice de sortie (5a) de l'élément compresseur d'étage basse pression (2) étant relié à l'orifice d'entrée (4b) de l'élément compresseur d'étage haute pression (3) par l'intermédiaire d'une conduite (6). Le système selon l'invention se caractérise en ce que les éléments compresseurs (2, 3 ) sont pourvus de leur propre entraînement sous la forme d'un moteur électrique (2a, 3a), lesdits éléments (2, 3) étant raccordés au moteur électrique (2a, 3a) soit directement soit par l'intermédiaire d'une boîte de vitesses, et en ce qu'un refroidisseur intermédiaire (9) est disposé dans ladite conduite (6) entre l'élément compresseur d'étage basse pression (2) et l'élément compresseur d'étage haute pression (3).
