The present invention provides a valve assembly (100, 200) for controlling a high-pressure fluid flow through a fluid pathway, the valve assembly (100, 200) comprising: a valve housing (110, 210), defining: a first port (112, 212); and a second port (114, 214) configured to be fluidly connected to the first port (112, 212) via a fluid pathway; a flow control member (120, 220) controllably moveable in the valve housing (110, 210) to alter a fluid flow restriction in the fluid pathway between the first port (112, 212) and the second port (114, 214); and a piezoelectric actuator (130, 230), when activated, configured to cause the flow control member (120, 220) to move whereby to alter the fluid flow restriction, and wherein the piezoelectric actuator (130, 230) is a bending-type piezoelectric actuator (130, 230).

La présente invention concerne un ensemble vanne (100, 200) destiné à réguler un débit de fluide à haute pression à travers un trajet de fluide, l'ensemble vanne (100, 200) comprenant : un corps de vanne (110, 210) qui définit : un premier orifice (112, 212) ; et un deuxième orifice (114, 214) conçu pour être relié de manière fluidique au premier orifice (112, 212) par le biais d'un trajet de fluide ; un élément de régulation de débit (120, 220) à mobilité commandable dans le corps de vanne (110, 210), destiné à modifier une restriction d'écoulement de fluide dans le trajet de fluide entre le premier orifice (112, 212) et le deuxième orifice (114, 214) ; et un actionneur piézoélectrique (130, 230) qui, lorsqu'il est activé, est conçu pour amener l'élément de de régulation de débit (120, 220) à se déplacer afin de modifier la restriction d'écoulement de fluide, et l'actionneur piézoélectrique (130, 230) étant un actionneur piézoélectrique (130, 230) de type à courbure.
