Abstract

A helmet comprising a multichannel feed-forward active noise cancellation (ANC) system for preferentially attenuating sound pressure in a first frequency range in a defined spatial region at a first side of the helmet, the ANC system comprises a first reference microphone (4) for measuring the sound pressure at a first location on the first side of the helmet, the first location between the defined spatial region and a first source of sound and a second reference microphone (5) for measuring the sound pressure at a second location on the first side of the helmet. The second location is different to the first location, and the second location is between the defined spatial region and a second source of sound. A loud speaker (7) is provided in or adjacent to the defined spatial region. A control unit (6) determines, based on output signals from the first and second microphones, a drive signal for driving the loudspeaker to generate a sound signal that at least partially attenuates, in the defined spatial region and in the first frequency range, the sound signals from the first and second noise sources.

L'invention concerne un casque comprenant un système d'annulation active de bruit linéaire multicanal (ANC) pour atténuer de manière préférentielle la pression sonore dans une première plage de fréquences dans une région spatiale définie au niveau d'un premier côté du casque, le système ANC comprenant un premier microphone de référence (4) pour mesurer la pression sonore à un premier emplacement sur le premier côté du casque, le premier emplacement se trouvant entre la région spatiale définie et une première source sonore, et un second microphone de référence (5) pour mesurer la pression sonore à un second emplacement sur le premier côté du casque. Le second emplacement est différent du premier emplacement, et le second emplacement se trouve entre la région spatiale définie et une seconde source sonore. Un haut-parleur (7) est disposé dans la région spatiale définie ou à proximité de cette dernière. Une unité de commande (6) détermine, sur la base de signaux de sortie provenant des premier et second microphones, un signal d'attaque pour amener le haut-parleur à générer un signal sonore qui atténue au moins partiellement, dans la région spatiale définie et dans la première plage de fréquences, les signaux sonores provenant des première et seconde sources de bruit.
