Abstract

The invention relates to a matrix light source designed to be supplied with electrical voltage and having a plurality of elementary light sources with an electroluminescent semiconductor element and a common substrate in contact with an integrated circuit. The integrated circuit includes, for each elementary light source, a switch device allowing it to be selectively connected to a source of electrical voltage as a function of a first control signal. The substrate comprises, for at least one of the elementary light sources, a circuit for detecting a fault in an open circuit of the elementary light source.

L'invention propose une source lumineuse matricielle destinée à être alimentée en tension électrique et ayant une pluralité de sources lumineuses élémentaires à élément semi-conducteur électroluminescent et un substrat commun en contact avec un circuit intégré. Le circuit intégré comprend pour chaque source lumineuse élémentaire un dispositif interrupteur permettant de la connecter de manière sélective à une source de tension électrique en fonction d'un premier signal de commande. Le substrat comprend, pour au moins une des sources lumineuses élémentaires, un circuit de détection d'un défaut en circuit ouvert de la source lumineuse élémentaire.
