Fülleinheit (1) für eine Packmaschine (100) zum Füllen von Schüttgut (50) in Gebinde (60) und Packmaschine mit einer Fülleinheit (1), umfassend eine Fördereinrichtung (2), mittels welcher Schüttgut (50) in ein Gebinde (60) förderbar ist und eine Steuereinrichtung (3), welche dazu geeignet und ausgebildet ist, einen Füllstrom (4) in ein Gebinde (60) zu steuern. Dabei ist eine Füllstandsensoreinrichtung (5) mit einer Sensoreinrichtung (6) vorgesehen ist, welche dazu geeignet und ausgebildet ist, einen ersten Füllstand (7) und einen zweiten Füllstand (8) von Schüttgut (50) in einem Gebinde (60) zu erfassen, wobei der erste Füllstand (7) einem niedrigeren Füllstand entspricht als der zweite Füllstand (8). Die Steuereinrichtung (3) regelt den Füllstrom (4) anhand der von der Sensoreinrichtung (6) ermittelten Füllstände regelt. Dabei wird bei dem erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren das Gebinde gefüllt, bis der zweite Füllstand erkannt wird. Der Füllstrom wird dann reduziert, bis der erste Füllstand erkannt wird. Daraufhin wird der Füllstrom erhöht.

The controller (3) regulates the filling flow (4) using the fill levels ascertained by the sensor device (6). In a method according to the invention, the container is filled until the second fill level is detected. The filling flow is then reduced until the first fill level is detected, and the filling flow is then increased.
