A method for enhancing data quality of a drug dose dispense data set to automatically provide dispense data reflecting actually injected dose amounts. For a given dispense session the method comprises the steps of creating a list of possible dispense patterns in accordance with a set of pattern rules and then for each pattern in the list calculate a weight allowing a winning pattern to be determined. Each dispense pattern is a particular sequence of priming events and injection events, with each dispense pattern being a possible interpretation of the dispense events in the current session. For each pattern a combined pattern weight being the product of weight factors for each dispense in the pattern is calculated, wherein each weight factor is determined in accordance with a weight factor vs dispense size function for the given dispense type and dispense size, wherein the larger the dispense size, the more likely it is to represent an injection event and the less likely it is to represent a priming event.

Procédé pour améliorer la qualité de données d'un ensemble de données de distribution de dose de médicament pour fournir automatiquement des données de distribution reflétant des quantités de dose réellement injectées. Pour une session de distribution donnée, le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à créer une liste de motifs de distribution possibles conformément à un ensemble de règles de motif, puis pour chaque motif de la liste, calculer un poids permettant de déterminer un motif gagnant. Chaque motif de distribution est une séquence particulière d'événements d'amorçage et d'événements d'injection, chaque motif de distribution étant une interprétation possible des événements de distribution dans la session actuelle. Pour chaque motif, un poids de motif combiné étant le produit de facteurs de poids pour chaque distribution dans le motif est calculé, chaque facteur de poids étant déterminé conformément à un facteur de pondération par rapport à une fonction de taille de distribution pour le type de distribution et la taille de distribution donnés, plus la taille de distribution est grande, plus il est probable que cela représente un événement d'injection et moins il est probable que cela représente un événement d'amorçage.
