Abstract

An apparatus comprising a plurality of optical deflectors arranged about a curve which at least partially encircles a volume. The optical deflectors are configured to at least partially deflect incident light away from the volume. The optical deflectors have respective optical axes which extend outwardly from the volume. The optical axes have a component orthogonal to a plane of the curve and a component parallel to the plane. Nearest neighbouring optical deflectors have respective optical axes with differently directed orthogonal components and with an angular separation between parallel components of less than 90 degrees.

La présente invention porte sur un appareil qui comprend une pluralité de déflecteurs optiques disposés autour d'une courbe qui encercle au moins partiellement un volume. Les déflecteurs optiques sont conçus pour dévier au moins partiellement la lumière incidente à distance du volume, et possèdent des axes optiques respectifs qui se prolongent vers l'extérieur du volume. Les axes optiques présentent un élément orthogonal à un plan de la courbe et un élément parallèle au plan. Les déflecteurs optiques voisins les plus proches possèdent des axes optiques respectifs qui présentent des éléments orthogonaux orientés différemment, et une séparation angulaire entre des composants parallèles inférieure à 90 degrés.
