The present disclosure relates to a data transmission method and apparatus, which belong to the technical field of the Internet. The method comprises: whenever a pre-set data sending cycle is reached, determining whether there is a video data packet to be sent; if there is no video data packet to be sent, based on the number of sent times of each sent video data packet, selecting, from sent video data packets, at least one video data packet, the number of sent times of which satisfies a pre-set sending times condition, and a total data amount of which satisfies a pre-set expected data amount condition, and determining a filling data packet according to the selected video data packet; and sending the filling data packet to a receiving end. By means of the present disclosure, a filling data packet can be effectively used to improve the quality of data transmission.

La présente invention a trait au domaine technique d'Internet et concerne un procédé et un appareil de transmission de données. Le procédé selon l'invention consiste : à déterminer, chaque fois qu'un cycle d'envoi de données prédéfini est atteint, s'il existe un paquet de données vidéo à envoyer ; si tel n'est pas le cas, à sélectionner parmi des paquets de données vidéo envoyés, en fonction du nombre de fois que chaque paquet de données vidéo a été envoyé, au moins un paquet de données vidéo dont le nombre d'envois répond à une condition de nombre d'envois prédéfinie et dont la quantité de données totale répond à une condition de quantité de données attendue prédéfinie, et à déterminer un paquet de données de remplissage en fonction du paquet de données vidéo sélectionné ; et à envoyer le paquet de données de remplissage à une extrémité de réception. La présente invention permet d'utiliser efficacement un paquet de données de remplissage pour améliorer la qualité de transmission de données.
