According to one embodiment, a system receives a captured image perceiving an environment of an ADV from an image capturing device of the ADV capturing a plurality of obstacles near the ADV. The system generates a first tunnel based on a width of a road lane for the ADV, where the first tunnel represents a passable lane for the ADV to travel through. The system generates one or more additional tunnels based on locations of the obstacles, where the one or more additional tunnels modify a width of the passable lane according to a level of invasiveness of the obstacles. The system generates a trajectory of the ADV based on the first and the additional tunnels to control the ADV according to the trajectory to navigate around the obstacles without collision.

Selon un mode de réalisation, un système reçoit une image capturée qui perçoit un environnement d'un véhicule autonome (VA) à partir d'un dispositif de capture d'image du VA capturant une pluralité d'obstacles à proximité du VA. Le système génère un premier tunnel sur la base d'une largeur d'une voie de circulation pour le VA, le premier tunnel représentant une voie de passage dans laquelle le VA doit se déplacer. Le système génère un ou plusieurs tunnels supplémentaires sur la base d'emplacements des obstacles, le ou les tunnels supplémentaires modifiant une largeur de la voie de passage en fonction d'un niveau d'envahissement des obstacles. Le système génère une trajectoire du VA sur la base du premier tunnel et des tunnels supplémentaires pour commander le VA en fonction de la trajectoire pour qu'il navigue autour des obstacles sans collision.
