Provided are a communication method and system, and a movable platform. The method comprises: after a USB interface of a movable platform is connected to a USB interface of an external device, supplying power to the external device through a battery of the movable platform, and detecting the type of the external device; establishing a communication link, corresponding to the external device, of the movable platform according to the type of the external device; and communicating with the external device through the communication link. In this embodiment, according to the type of an external device, a communication link corresponding to the type can be established, thereby realizing communication between the two; therefore, multiple external devices can share the same USB interface, thus, a movable platform can be connected to a variety of external devices through a USB interface so as to implement a variety of functions or tasks, thereby improving the utilization rate of the movable platform.
