Abstract
(EN) A server detects a failure of an outbound path based on at least a measure of forward progress made on a connection between the server and an end point. In response to the failure, the server generates a hash value based at least on an identifying value of the connection and a failure counter associated with the measure of forward progress made on the connection. The server then selects a next outbound path for the packet flow based on at least the hash value generated in response to the failure. The server also sends the packet flow over the next outbound path to the end point.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un serveur qui détecte une défaillance d'un trajet sortant sur la base d'au moins une mesure de progression vers l'avant effectuée sur une connexion entre le serveur et un point d'extrémité. En réponse à la défaillance, le serveur génère une valeur de hachage sur la base au moins d'une valeur d'identification de la connexion et d'un compteur de défaillance associé à la mesure de progression vers l'avant effectuée sur la connexion. Le serveur sélectionne ensuite un chemin sortant suivant destiné au flux de paquets sur la base d'au moins la valeur de hachage générée en réponse à la défaillance. Le serveur envoie également le flux de paquets sur le trajet sortant suivant jusqu'au point d'extrémité.
