A braking system (4) for motorcycles comprising a first manual actuator device (8), operable by means of a lever and / or a pedal, selectively connectable to at least a first braking device (12) placed on a front axle (16) of the vehicle, and/or at least a second braking device (20) placed on said front axle (16) or on a rear axle (22) of the motorcycle, each braking device (4) acting on a relative brake disc or drum (14), the first manual actuator device (8) being provided with a hydraulic supply circuit (24) that can be selectively connected to a hydraulic input circuit (28) of at least one of said braking devices (12,20) by means of a control valve (32), said control valve (32) being positioned in an operating position, in which it hydraulically disconnects the first manual actuator device (8) from the braking devices (12,20), and in an electrical fault position, in which it hydraulically connects the first manual actuator device (8) with at least one of said braking devices (12,20), at least one electro-hydraulic automatic actuator device (36) fluidly connectable to the hydraulic input circuit (28) of at least one of said braking devices (12, 20) for the respective hydraulic actuation thereof, at least one electromechanical automatic actuator device (40) associated with at least one of said braking devices (12, 20) not provided with a hydraulic input circuit (28), the electro-hydraulic automatic actuator devices (36) being associated with the front axle (16) and the electromechanical automatic actuator devices (40) being associated with the rear axle (22) of the motorcycle or vice versa, - a single control unit (44) operatively connected to the control valve (32), to the at least one electro-hydraulic automatic actuator device (36), to the at least one electromechanical automatic actuator device (40) and to the first manual actuator device (8) so as to operate said electro-hydraulic (36) and electromechanical (40) automatic actuator devices and said control valve (32) according to the position or configuration of the first manual actuator device (8) and/or according to the dynamics of the motorcycle.

L'invention concerne un système de freinage (4) pour des motocyclettes comprenant un premier dispositif actionneur manuel (8), pouvant être actionné au moyen d'un levier et/ou d'une pédale, pouvant être sélectivement raccordé à au moins un premier dispositif de freinage (12) placé sur un essieu avant (16) du véhicule, et/ou au moins un second dispositif de freinage (20) placé sur ledit essieu avant (16) ou sur un essieu arrière (22) de la motocyclette, chaque dispositif de freinage (4) agissant sur un disque ou tambour de frein relatif (14), le premier dispositif actionneur manuel (8) étant doté d'un circuit d'alimentation hydraulique (24) qui peut être sélectivement raccordé à un circuit d'entrée hydraulique (28) d'au moins l'un desdits dispositifs de freinage (12, 20) au moyen d'une soupape de commande (32), ladite soupape de commande (32) étant positionnée dans une position fonctionnelle, dans laquelle elle libère hydrauliquement le premier dispositif actionneur manuel (8) des dispositifs de freinage (12, 20), et dans une position de défaillance électrique, dans laquelle elle raccorde hydrauliquement le premier dispositif actionneur manuel (8) à au moins l'un desdits dispositifs de freinage (12, 20), au moins un dispositif actionneur automatique électrohydraulique (36) pouvant être fluidiquement raccordé au circuit d'entrée hydraulique (28) d'au moins l'un desdits dispositifs de freinage (12, 20) pour son actionnement hydraulique respectif, au moins un dispositif actionneur automatique électromécanique (40) associé à au moins l'un desdits dispositifs de freinage (12, 20) non doté d'un circuit d'entrée hydraulique (28), les dispositifs actionneurs automatiques électrohydrauliques (36) étant associés à l'essieu avant (16) et les dispositifs actionneurs automatiques électromécaniques (40) étant associés à l'essieu arrière (22) de la motocyclette ou vice-versa, - une seule unité de commande (44) fonctionnellement raccordée à la soupape de commande (32), à l'au moins un dispositif actionneur automatique électrohydraulique (36), à l'au moins un dispositif actionneur automatique électromécanique (40) et au premier dispositif actionneur manuel (8) de manière à actionner lesdits dispositifs actionneurs automatiques électrohydraulique (36) et électromécanique (40) et ladite soupape de commande (32) en fonction de la position ou configuration du premier dispositif actionneur manuel (8) et/ou en fonction de la dynamique de la motocyclette.
